Remember Sylar? This five-piece Queens band surprised us all with their latest EP “Deadbeat” released a couple of months ago. They bring up some massive, devastating hardcore music. This band was able to take parts of the underground by storm, literally coming out of nowhere, completely self-producing this EP which also featured some cool cameos from Frankie Palmeri and Caleb Shomo.
Now they’re back with another fuckin’ moshable track called “Golden Retreat”. It features heavy riffage, some simple but really cool synth work, and clean vocals too. This band looks to have what it takes to push everyone out of their way and claim their space as one of the heaviest new American metal/hardcore bands.
