Shining is a crazy metal band from Norway. Originally started as a jazz band, they went through a continuous evolution touching on progressive and psychedelic rock as well. They finally came to experimental metal form with their 2010 album “Blackjazz” which surprised everyone and got raving review from the critics.
Their new album “One One One” was released in the US at the end of May and in Europe at the beginning of June via Prosthetic Records. It proves once again the amazing energy this band is able to deliver, especially during their intense live performances. Their free jazz influences make this album an irresistible and original musical attack, especially if you check out crazy tracks like “The One Inside” or “Blackjazz Rebels”. Norway hardly disappoints!
