In the past there have been several confrontations between the metal community and the idiots known as the Westboro Baptist Church. From picketing the funerals of metal idols to making inane criticisms of our lifestyle, they’ve officially labeled themselves as enemies of metal (aka not a good place to be). In addition, they’ve labeled themselves as enemies of just about anything good in this world. I could rant but I will not.
Instead I will point you in the direction of the latest conflict between metal and utter religious stupidity. Whitechapel’s vocalist Phil Bozeman was pulled into a clash with WBC recently via Attila’s Fronz guy. The exchange was deftly covered by the legends at The PRP and is good for a laugh or two.
