“If Skrillex and Meshuggah had a baby, and Tigran Hamasyan was the godfather.” That’s how this track has been described.
It comes from a new artist by the name of Shwesmo who also worked with the insanely good Progressive Metal / Rock / Jazz Fusion / Experimental band by the name of HAGO (CLICK HERE to give a listen). His mission has turned towards the purpose of pushing musical boundaries by combining his guitar skill with an outlandish take on electronic music combining fusion and middle eastern influences + much more! One can never truly know what to expect while giving Shwesmo a spin besides the fact that it will be different.
This certainly all shows through the new Shwesmo single going by the name of “Concerto for Guitar and Computer”. It makes for a 4-minute ear bender which comes at its musical delivery through a number of directions. Expect glitches, chops, and synths to be mixed in with the winding guitar work as this track goes from one end of the world to the other. The new single can be found for your streaming pleasure right here:
If you enjoy “Concerto for Guitar and Computer”, also be sure to check the other new single “Son if Tigris” feat. Layth Sidiq. It stands well apart from the other single in some ways with more of a heavy electronic approach with the middle eastern influence shining through full force. You can give a listen here:
