This month saw the release of an excellent, new album straight from Dayton, Ohio. It was constructed by no less than prog rock / metal mavens Crossing The Rubicon! The full release goes by the name “Matter” and consists of 11 tracks all hovering around the 4 minute mark and well beyond. So there’s absolutely no shortage of content or entertainment to be found here!
Beyond some very talented core instrumentalists, the band also took full advantage of a talented saxophone player among their line-up to push the whole sound to the next level! It makes for quite a unique and satisfying listening experience.
What’s more – the whole thing was mastered by the legendary Jamie King at The Basement Recording NC (Between The Buried And Me, The Contortionist, Scale The Summit, etc.) and also includes guest spots from the likes of Arch Echo’s Adam Bentley!
In support of this, the band launched a music video for the track “Time Lapse” which can be enjoyed through the stream found just below.
To dig further into the album, you can visit a number of other music platforms like Bandcamp to purchase / stream!
