We were really hoping to see a full collaborative album and cartoon series from the Rings of Saturn + Berried Alive project called DADS. Unfortunately, that will not come to fruition.
The following statement was posted up on the Rings of Saturn Instagram recently in regards to this:
The Indiegogo for the collaboration of Charles Caswell (Berried Alive) and Lucas Mann (Rings of Saturn) has ended today. Unfortunately we did not hit our funding goal, so all money is in the process of being refunded to the contributors by the Indiegogo website, and we cannot continue on with the full album and animation series called DADS. Itβs unfortunate that we have to abandon this project as we tried our very best to make it come into fruition for everyone, however without the funds, no aspect of this project can continue. We appreciate everyone who showed their support by contributing monetarily and spreading the word. It means the world to us that you guys love and share our music.
Additionally we would love to hear some feedback from you guys about what you would like to see or hear from us both in the future regarding another possible collaboration. Perhaps you guys want one last farewell song? Perhaps we release one of the merch items from the campaign? Let us know in the comments below, we would love to hear from you. -DADS ππ½
