The good people over at SPIN were responsible for finding this gem… Doom Metal is known for it’s slow and heavy delivery. The sub-genre certainly appeals to some more than others. Some would even go so far as to say it puts them to sleep…
Now, we have the drowsy effect of Doom Metal documented via live footage. The band FÓRN was performing a 3AM set on New Years Eve in Brooklyn. For that entire set, there was a fan sleeping onstage and it’s hilarious. The band had the following comment about this:
“Apparently, 3am is too late of a set time for some people, like the dude who is passed out on stage the entire time that somehow none of us realized. Can somebody check on him and make sure he’s not dead?”
