Last week marked the release of the highly anticipated Meshuggah album “The Violent Sleep Of Reason” through Nuclear Blast Records. For those who are available in purchasing the beast, it’s available here HERE.
In support of the album, drummer Tomas Haake has been doing quite a bit of promotional work including some unrealistically good playthrough videos. The latest of these was done for the album’s opening track and single “Clockworks”. Still not entirely sure if this band is human. Watch for yourself…
It was also recently made known that the band recorded “The Violent Sleep Of Reason” live in the studio as a singular unit. This is the first time they’ve used this recording method in ~20 years. The results are exciting to say the very least. Speaking of which, here’s another recent playthrough from Mr. Haake for the single “Nostrum”.
