It would appear that Sepultura are taking a slightly different direction with their upcoming album. They’ve brought on an entire brass section to provide instrumentation for the LP. This was announced over social networks this weekend, accompanied by the following statement and photo. TUBES! BLOODY TUBES!
We have some different (HEAVY) sounds for our new album… These are musicians from Teatro São Pedro recording at Dynamic Studios some arrangements written by Maestro Renato Zanuto, who also participated in the album The Mediator Between Head and Hands Must Be the Heart. It’s getting amazing!
We’ll have to wait and see what comes of this ultimately. In the meantime, here are some classics:
