It’s been a great week or so for Deftones. Having sold 71k in the first week of their new album’s release, “Gore” has hit #2 on the Billboard Charts! This is the band’s best performance since their self-titled album back in 2003 when the followed up the legendary “White Pony”. Subsequent albums certainly charted but not quite so high. Well done with “Gore”!
Just for a bit of added fun, the band has also been running an international scavenger hunt! They’ve been hiding limited edition, signed white vinyl copies of “Gore” in different cities around the world, announcing them one at a time with an approximate location.
