For those who weren’t aware, August Burns Red were entered into the “Best Metal Performance” category for the 2016 Grammys. The awards show took place last night and, unfortunately for ABR, they did not win. Instead, Ghost ended up walking away with the award.
But that’s all beside the point of this story. Before the awards show even started, the band and their entourage got stuck in an elevator! After being rescued by the Los Angeles Fire Department, the band had a grand entrance to the award show via firetruck! You read that correctly. August Burns Red arrived at The Grammys in a firetruck.
