Materia was founded in 2007 in Szczecinek. Initially as a trio: Michael `Mihu` Piesiak (vocal and bass), Tadek `TeDe` Piesiak (guitars and vocals) And Kuba `Marcia` Marciniak (drums). In 2010, Materia longtime friend, Adrian `Adi` Dubiński joined the band as guitarist. They intensively concerts throughout Poland, with a lot of success on festivals and competitions – including those the most important in Poland – Woodstock and Festival in Jarocin.
