Yesterday, System of a Down played their first ever live show in Armenia. For those of you who don't know, this is the band's country of origin. Furthermore, the band made this move to raise awareness of the now hundred year old Armenian genocide. This was of course a terrible series of events that swept the country and left their mark on history.
This two hour set was just one of many on the "Wake Up The Souls Tour” but arguably the most important and symbolic move. The tour will will pick up again this June in the United States and Canada as SOAD continue their international trek.
