In a recent interview with Rabid Noise, Killswitch Engage frontman Jesse Leach stated the following:
“We’re getting together mid-February to show each other our own demos and talk about it. But, in the meantime, we’ll have a song come out in April, which is part of the ‘Game Of Thrones‘ TV series (more on that HERE). We wrote a song for them, and we’re all pretty proud of it, man. So they’re gonna drop that, and we actually might start playing it live. We’re all pretty stoked on that. So maybe have the album done by summer, hopefully, and then start hitting some of the festivals and stuff like that. We’ll see what happens.”
So, there you have it. Killswitch Engage may, at the very least, have a brand new album completed this year. As for the actual release of said album, we'll just have to wait and see. In the meantime, here's some music:
