I still remember meeting Crossfaith's vocalist, Kenta Koie, outside of a venue as he was promoting the band on foot. I had recognized the band's name on the sign he was holding, so I yelled over to him. He responded with the horns and yelled, "YEAH! Fucking metal!" So, of course, my first impression was – yeah, this dude is cool. He talked me into seeing their set that day and, frankly, they killed it. Ever since, I've wished nothing but the best for these guys and it looks like plenty of good news just hit.
Crossfaith have just signed to a new label in Razor & Tie and have been announced for this year's edition of Warped Tour. Here's the official statement from the band:
“We are thrilled to announce that we’re signed with Razor & Tie. We think they are the most exciting and challenging label in the western music industry nowadays. The fact that we’re going to work with this label partner allows us to showcase our infinite creativity to the music scene. Plus, we’re playing at the Van’s Warped Tour all next summer, which is insanely great news for us and our fans! We’re simply ready for “our” future!”
