HerNameInBlood

The time has come for some Japanese party metal. Her Name In Blood first emerged little over half a decade back with the mission of taking over their countries metal scene while simultaneously reaching beyond. They first came to my attention back in 2010 with the release of their debut album "Decadence", which followed up a number of demos and a split release from years prior. I enjoyed the onslaught of heaviness and technicality infused breakdowns they brought to the table, marking it up as a "fun" album. And that it was.

Since then, I had personally lost touch with the band but they continued to grow in their own right, releasing a 2013 EP, "The Beast", and this year brought a self-titled sophomore album. Their sound shifted a bit in that time, but they managed to keep up the high energy "fun" vibe in their music. The man Will Putney (The Human Abstract, Thy Art Is Murder, Suicide Silence, etc.) even got his hands dirty mixing and mastering the band's latest effort.

Give 'em a listen and see what you think… Then give 'em some time and Her Name In Blood may be coming to a country near you!
