Černá is an excellent one man band opening a musical window from Kalamazoo, Michigan. Cody McCoy's weapon of choice is an instrumental, experimental take on post-metal with some black metal and alternative rock embellishments mixed in. From the glory I just heard, he managed to mix all these varying sound molds into an incredible, relatively laid back experience. It definitely made for a relaxing morning.
"Restoring Life" is the debut album composed by said one man band Černá. Released last year through Domestic Genocide records, this album might just put you in happy place. Find the play button below and see what you think.
