Two brilliant police officers recently harassed and arrested two men in Coeur d’Alene, Idaho for criticizing (or rather, simply saying) Nickelback. This was done in reaction to a passing vehicle blasting music. The one officer reportedly believed the man had said "nickel sack" as in a reference to selling drugs (a somewhat outdated terminology).
Since the events took place, the men arrested have been released without charge. A supervisor is currently reviewing the case and the actions of the officers. Though, most likely, nothing will come of it.
