Any fans of post-black metal out there? Lantlôs is a project by the multi-instrumentalist Markus Siegenhort (aka Herbst) whose first three album became a must listen for lovers of black and extreme metal with post-rock sounds.
This new album, "Melting Sun" leaves behind most of the Black influences, approaching more of a shoegaze sound and a much wider use of clean vocals which bring the whole experience a stronger ambience. The album is divided into 7 chapters, one of which was released only in the special edition from Prophecy Production that features an exclusive art book with the stunning artworks that go with the concept of the record. This is a sweet work that should definitely be discovered by all the fans of the genre.
Don't forget that the band will embark on it's first European tour ever in September supported by the Scottish band Falloch. The Lantlôs live show really looks to be tasty so don't miss them if they're coming near you!
