UPDATE – Napalm Death’s Shane Embury will be unable to tour with the band on their upcoming trek with Municipal Waste, Sick Of It All and Take Offense. He had the following to say of this through two statements:
“Hey Friends …
Due to circumstances beyond anyone’s control, I will not be able to grind on the US tour with Sick of It All and Municipal Waste. Driving the bass bulldozer will be Vernon Blake, long-time friend and veteran grindcore/hardcore dealer with his Rigid Records label.”
…
“Hi folks – Shane here just to
Let all out there know I am
Totally fine no health issues (well could
Do with going on a
Diet but what’s new 😳)but as we said cannot make the tour – at the moment it’s
Beyond our control and I am ultra weakened as we napalm death guys say i can’t make it great bands and great friends love to everyone”
Municipal Waste and Napalm Death are co-headlining a tour of the United States this October! They’ll be supported by no less than Sick Of It All and Take Offense making for an all around great time. As per usual, dates and music from the bands can be found on this page.
Municipal Waste’s Tony Foresta had the following to say of the venture, “Ohhh, I’m exhausted. I’ve been on this street a thousand times. It’s never looked so strange. The faces…so cold. In the distance, a child is crying. Fatherless…a bastard child, perhaps. My back aches…my heart aches…but my feet (stops to look at feet)…my feet are resilient! Thank God I took off my heels, and put on my… Himalayan walking shoes! Also this tour is going to rule. Yes!”
