Eat, sleep, work. Repeat.
Somewhere in the middle of all that repetition, maybe you feel like reaching for that gun. Maybe you won’t go into work today. Maybe then someone may notice. Maybe they won’t.
San Francisco’s Technical death metal outfit Ontogeny’s newest music video “Living Witness” from their upcoming album “ANTISOCIAL MEDIA” gives you a glimpse into the life of a man living a mundane life who is simultaneously enamored by the seemingly glamorous life the others around him are living online – a world he hopelessly doesn’t understand.
The 9 minute track is full of twists and turns as the riffage follows the main character’s clumsy attempts to make sense of it all.
In a world where everyone is desensitized to violence and gore, what does it take to get noticed? What does it take for people to hear your cry for help?
The song is mastered by Colin Marston (Gorguts, Behold the Arctopus…). The album “ANTISOCIAL MEDIA” is slated to be released mid October.
