We are sad to report that Mikio Fujioka, guitarist for the famed Japanese group Babymetal, has passed away. He was only 36 years old and is survived by his wife and two daughters.
On December 30th, he sustained serious injuries after a fall from an observation deck. This would ultimately lead to his untimely passing.
He will surely be missed by the legion of fans he’s helped build by working with Babymetal for ~5 years now.
