2018 is quickly proving to be a great year for music! The man Arsafes (also of the bands Kartikeya and Above The Earth) has thrown in his hat in the ring to further push this truth. For those who are unaware, Arsafes is an absolute master of his multi-instrumentalist craft capable of composing, recording, mixing, and mastering all of his material. He also knows how to bring great musicians together for the sake of making great music through a number of flavors. All in all, he’s arguably one of the most promising and talented entities in the metal underground today.
His latest effort goes by the name of “The Silk Road Experience Pt.1”. It’s an awesome EP composed of 3 tracks standing at a ~20 minute playtime. In addition to his usual, sharp Progressive Metal approach, Arsafes adds plenty of extreme, experimental, world, and folk twists to make this record truly something special! The record is currently available for streaming and purchase over on Bandcamp. Go get it!
