In a recent interview with MikeJames RockShow, Mastodon guitarist Bill Kelliher let it be known that the band already has a solid leg up on an all new album. In fact, it appears that they’ll be heading into the studio around October or November. To be more specific, you can check out the quote he gave along with the full interview down below…
“With the eleven songs that we’ve recorded so far it’s mostly been Brann and myself, I mean he lives down from the street from me, we grew up together and we wrote together. Once we get home, we’re gonna pick up where we left off, but we’re pretty well ahead of the curve. Like I said, there’s about eleven, twelve solid ideas, all full songs that are there with vocals and everything. Our plan right now is to start recording in October / November.”
