For what it’s worth, The Grammys are happening tonight and the winners are steadily being unveiled. There’s no doubt been friction between the premiere awards ceremony and the metal community in recent years given the snubbing of many great artists in both life and death. However, the “Best Metal Performance” category has remained open.
The nominees for the category this year were August Burns Red, Ghost, Lamb Of God, Sevendust, and Slipknot. The winner was just announced as Ghost. Congratulations to ya spooky bastards!
