This was a tough year for fans of After The Burial. The passing of guitarist and genius musician Justin Lowe will leave a mark on the community for a very long time to come. It goes without saying that the best way to honor his legacy is to remember the good times. So that’s exactly what we aim to do this Throwback Thursday.

Shortly after the release of their last album “Wolves Within” in 2013, After The Burial guitarists Justin Lowe and Trent Hafdahl teamed up to bring us the 12 Days of Riff-Mas. This was a funny and frankly awesome exhibition of the band’s explosive riffs with theme of the season. It also served as an instructional guide with slowed down playing and guitar tablature for certain parts of certain songs. You can find all 12 of these videos condensed into a single YouTube playlist right here. Doesn’t matter if you play guitar or not. If you enjoy After The Burial, these are entertaining.
