In Finland, there’s a Punk band that goes by the name of Pertti Kurikan Nimipäivät. What makes them stand out is their cause. All four members of this band have Down Syndrome and their mission is to raise awareness about the condition in their country and, now it seems, the entire world! This is as incredible as it is inspiring.
Everything about this band and their attitude screams punk rock. They refuse to let anything or anyone stand in their way as they do what they love. And they do it well. Their sound has an early Dead Kennedys feel to it with a lot of energy put forward.
