Great music! Great cause! Between The Buried And Me, Primus, Clutch, and an assortment of others have gone pink in support of people with cancer. This is being done through the Gilda’s Club NYC “Ten Bands One Cause”. For more information on exactly how this works, you can head over to 10bands1cause.com or simply look at the official press release below.
After the success of 2014’s “Ten Bands One Cause” effort – which raised $28,046.50 for Gilda’s Club NYC (GCNYC), an organization that provides free support to people with cancer – ten new artists joined the program in 2015: Between The Buried And Me, Run The Jewels, Sturgill Simpson, Joey Bada$$, Al Green, Chet Faker, Pierce The Veil, Primus, Clutch, and Ingrid Michaelson. In conjunction with RED, the aforementioned bands released a limited pink vinyl edition of their latest album, with all proceeds going to GCNYC. To-date, the program has brought in an impressive $36,758 for the cause – which also includes donations from several companies (such as Metal Blade Records, who gave a skinned ASG guitar for auction).
