If there’s any country you need to look out for in the world of metal right now, it’s Poland. This nation has new and exciting bands just pouring out of the woodworks recently. For example, we’ve promoted Hexadecimal, Mentally Blind, and Heads or Tails in recent months – all of which are more than worthwhile. And, of course, you can’t forget the heavyweights the country has produced over time such as Behemoth and Decapitated.
The newest band we’ll add to this list goes by the name of Deadpoint. Okay, maybe not technically the newest because they’ve been hard at work since 2010. But they’re certainly the most recent to fall on our radar with their infectious fusion of Groove Metal, Thrash Metal, and Metalcore. It’s really solid material.
They were brought to our attention through a brand new music video for a brand new track called “Lapidus”. This was released in support of the band’s upcoming, successfully crowdfunded debut album called “The Art Of Deception”. Check it out and be on the look out for much more if you enjoy!
