New Slayer will be incoming in a few months. The band just officially announced their 11th full-length studio album, “Repentless”. The effort will be released on September 11th through the juggernaut Nuclear Blast Records.
This outing was put together alongside legendary producer Terry Date (Pantera, Deftones). Unfortunately, it will also be the band’s first album without guitarist Jeff Hanneman who passed of cirrhosis about two years ago (R.I.P.). Regardless, a song written by him will be featured on the record. It will also be an album without drummer Dave Lombardo who was, yet again, replaced by Paul Brostaph. So needless to say, it will be interesting to see how the band moves forward.
All of this was announced to the world with the following announcement video. Check it out.
