Throwback Thursday – Heavy Covers (Part 3)
Near the end of 2013 I began a new segment titled “Heavy Covers” in which I discussed covers of classic heavy metal and hardcore songs. Seeing as how it’s been over a year since the last one was written, this feels like as good a time as any to revisit the segment. So here we […]
Exclusive – Dystrophy “Singularity” Single
Here’s one for all the death heads out there. We just teamed up with New Jersey death metal unit Dystrophy (related to the Skyrim metallers Ophidius) to bring you a new form of heaviness. The song in question “Departure”, is an evocative sample slice of what Cyclamen have to offer, combining the over-caffeinated intensity of youth with a persuasive and endearing Japanese charm. It also features the vocal talents of Yuuri from indie-techno-rockers, […]

We just received a series of messages from a lad named Lachy Toy describing his journey to find the new Northlane album art. And after a wild hunt, it looks as if he found just that! It also appears that the new album will be named “Node”. This was following the surprisingly hush released of […]
