Finnish folk metallers Korpiklaani will release their ninth full length studio album Noita, on May 1st (Europe) and May 4th (N. America) via Nuclear Blast. Today sees the band premiering the music video for their brand new track “Pilli On Pajusta Tehty” via Decibel Magazine. Check it out all the beer drinking fun at this location.
Noita is the first Korpiklaani release to feature new accordion player Sami Perttula. Perttula’s joining the band has added another dimension in the band’s folk arrangements alongside Fiddler Tuomas Rounakari. The album was recorded at Petrax Studios with musician and producer Aksu Hanttu. Jan Yrlund (Manowar, Sirenia etc), of Darkgrove Design, created the artwork. Yrlund has created all of the Korpiklaani artwork in recent years and once again has come up with another masterpiece. Fans can pre-order the album here.
