In Hearts Wake has released a video game in the lead up to the debut of their new album Skydancer via Rise Records on May 5th.
Last year, the band released the game “Earth Invaders” to accompany their album "Earthwalker" and following in the theme of the "Skydancer", have set “Skyhoppers” in, you guessed it, the sky.
Choose your player from In Hearts Wake (Jake, Ben, Eaven and Kyle) and see their face take shape as an eagle as you fly through cloud barriers much like the game Flappy Birds. You can hear the lead single 'Breakaway' as you play, but once you make it through 30 barriers you unlock the album track ‘Insomnia’ and hear it before the album is released.
As a bonus, the person to get the highest score by May 1 will win a rare vinyl test pressing of Skydancer.
Next week, new single “Erase” will be debuted on BBC Radio 1 Rock Show with Dan P Carter before becoming an instant download with the album preorder.
