There was a lot of buzz surrounding Black Sabbath's farewell show to be. At the word of Ozzy Osbourne, it was to take place at Ozzfest Japan in November. There was even a chance of drummer Bill Ward coming back to play for the legendary band's final hurrah.

Well, now it looks as if that won't be happening as the following statement from Black Sabbath reads…
“Despite previous reports, Black Sabbath will not appear on this year’s Ozzfest Japan, the show will instead feature the festival’s namesake, Ozzy Osbourne (and friends).”
It's now unclear whether there will be a Black Sabbath farewell show at all… We'll have to wait and see what happens. In the meantime, here's some music:
