As promised, Veil of Maya brought a good bit of new content forward today. They've just announced the release of their fifth album, "Matriarch", due out on May 12th through Sumerian Records. With this announcement, pre-orders have been made available. Grab them HERE.
The cherry on top comes in the form of a brand new single, "Mikasa". You can hear the band pull further away from their previous sound, bringing clean vocals from new vocalist Lukas Magyar into the mix. The vocals were produced by Periphery's Spencer Sotelo and it shows. The riffs and bone crushing breakdowns are still, more or less, present. Give a listen and see what you think.
