Tragedy has struck our community. A young man has died at a Chelsea Grin show in Cleveland, Ohio. He was only 21 years old. Far too young… According to reports from Lambgoat, who broke the bad news, he had a seizure and stopped breathing during the opening act. After which, he was immediately transported to the E.R. Further circumstances surrounding the events are unknown. But it has certainly had an effect on the metal community. And to the family, I'm truly sorry for your loss.
It's times like these that we need to reflect on how fragile the things we love can be. Our friend Zack Perez from Grizzly Productions couldn't have said it much better:
"Take care of each other at shows. Stuff like this is of course bound to happen once in a while at any event with 100s of people, but I've been hearing more and more about people getting seriously injured at shows. It's not cool, and you're not cool for hurting people. Once again, take care of this scene if you want it to still exist. RIP"
