Portraits of War is a 6-piece metal band from Minneapolis, Minnesota formed in late 2013. Their down-tuned, melodic groove punctuated by crushing vocals and layered synth give the band the versatility to play shows with some of the most extreme death metal to the melodic bands in the scene. Portraits of War are currently writing for their first E.P. tentatively scheduled for a March 2015 release.
So far, they've released a collection of three singles in anticipation of this. "The Worlds Fair", "Cursed With Me", and "Here She Comes" are all live and streaming on Bandcamp and available for a "name your price" download. Check em out.
