I once told you about this melodic hardcore / post-hardcore band from the UK called Acres. Their style has a big focus on atmosphere and emotion, and also features a strong influence from post-black metal as well. After releasing a couple of singles between 2012 and 2013, and an EP called "Solace" in early 2014, they're now getting ready for the next big step: their debut full-length album.
The album will come to life in 2015 and the band has released a small teaser to announce it. It doesn't actually show that much of what's to come, but it's enough to get me and most of their fans pretty excited for it. If you haven't heard of them and you're into this style of music, you absolutely need to go give them a listen. They're really an awesome band made of awesome people, delivering some intense music.
