I already wrote an article awaiting the release of this single, but it deemed worthy of a review by itself.
Blind Guardian has a history of stylistic changes throughout their 30 years of writing metal switching from a speed metal sound to more of a power metal vibe, however they still manage write memorable guitar licks, choruses, and melodies.
Earlier this month, they released the single for their new full-length. "Twilight of the Gods" definitely continues where Blind Guardian left off with their previous full-length. I would be lying if I said this was my favorite Blind Guardian song, but it still has great potential and I'm still eagerly awaiting their new album "Beyond The Red Mirror!"
