SLECHTVALK WRITING THEIR FIFTH FULL LENGTH
Slechtvalk is a Dutch black metal band with a story to tell. Since starting as a one-man project, this band has been releasing concept albums about a fantasy world created by Shamgar, the current guitarist and vocalist. They play a melodic form of black metal fused with folk metal creating a genre some metalheads […]
TOSIN ABASI (ANIMALS AS LEADERS) GUESTS ON AN R’n’B TRACK
My Mother ensured I knew that should I ever incur a debt, It should always be repayed. Well Mr Abasi's family have obviously brought him up with similar values because when R'n'B artist Kelela needed a guitarist for a track on her latest album, she turned to Tosin. THE FACELESS – VOCALIST GEOFF FICCO QUITS BAND
It appears as if Michael Keene is the only man left in The Faceless. Such a wealth of talent has left the band in recent history with the recent departure of Evan Brewer, Alex Rüdinger, Wes Hauch (not so recently) and, now, vocalist Geoff Ficco appears to be the cherry on top (not to mention […]
EXCLUSIVE – MISOPHONIA “DISINTEGRATION” LYRIC VIDEO

Nasty Toaster (what a name!) brought out their inner French rednecks and started up a fight club to the death in the recent music video for "Heat Up Your Hearts Till Its Last Beats". A long intro turns […]
DESPITE “CHAOS TRIGGER” SINGLE
Here's a beauty of a Swedish metal band crossing their native Melodic Death Metal sound with a modern Progressive Metal approach. The results are great to behold. Give a listen and you'll likely understand. November 10th 2014 marked the release of the follow-up to the Swedish metal band Despite's critically praised album "EPic", which was […]

HER NAME IN BLOOD – BANDS TO WATCH OUT FOR
The time has come for some Japanese party metal. Her Name In Blood first emerged little over half a decade back with the mission of taking over their countries metal scene while simultaneously reaching beyond. They first came to my attention back in 2010 with the release of their debut album "Decadence", which followed up […]
