It looks as if Deafheaven are gearing up for the release of a new album next year. This will be the follow up to the rabid success of 2013's "Sunbather". And this time around the band will not be releasing through Deathwish Inc. However, a new label has yet to be unveiled. No further details have been released. But front man George Clarke did leave this somewhat pretentious statement in regards to the band's old label.
"When we signed with Deathwish, we didn't know what we were going to do, and nor did they, but they had a lot of confidence in us. And we've developed, now, into a band that's bigger than a label of that size is able to manage – we know that, and they know that."
