Here’s an artist we’ve been meaning to share for quite awhile now. Jake Woodward is a brilliant guitarist hailing from the beautiful city of Edinburgh. He displays his skill and creative force through his project Desolate Dreams. It needs to be said that every release under that moniker is excellent. So if you haven’t had a desolate dream before, you can thank us later.
Jake’s weapon of choice is Progressive Metal in Instrumental form. Furthermore, there’s not a second wasted as he pays great attention to detail, weaving in and out of the intricacies of complex, modernized music.
As mentioned, all of his releases are worth your while. But we’re specifically here today to have a look at his latest, “The Tree That Never Saw The Sun”. This album saw the light of day (or rather, didn’t) back in May of this year. It’s vibrant spirit and impressive musical approach have lit up the ears and minds of many since. Now it’s your turn!
