FREE MUSIC MONDAY – ASHES OF RESURRECTION
Hailing from Corona, not to be confused with the brewers of Mexican beer, comes a new Californian Death unit. And through death comes Ashes of Resurrection. Technically, these guys have been trucking since 2010 but their debut EP, "The Human Transgression ", just saw the light of day in December of last year. Furthermore, they […]
FREE MUSIC MONDAY – SOBRE TUS CENIZAS
I have to say this band is pretty impressive. Emerging from Argentina, Sobre Tus Cenizas do not disappoint with their brand of Melodic Death Metal. The music is infused with intelligent musicianship and truly awesome vocal ability throughout. The band just dropped their debut full-length album this month! The title shares the bands moniker and […]
THE CONTORTIONIST “LANGUAGE” DUAL ALBUM REVIEW
We had a dual album review for The Contortionist's 2012 album, "Intrinsic", so it's only right we brought it back for their brand new effort, "Language"! Bradley D's Review Album of the year for me, without question. The progressive metal masterminds out of Indiana have gone away from their former sound, but in doing so […]

In the wake of these leaders has emerged a strong host of new bands awaiting their chance for glory. […]
FREE MUSIC MONDAY – WARTHORN
I just recently discovered Warthorn, a great old school death metal band with thrash influences. Hailing from Greece, these fuckers learned from the masters of extreme metal: Slayer, Possessed, Death, Venom, etc. They have tight instrumentation between the guitars and drums with great vocals. Hopefully, they will release a full-length soon, filled with thrashy riffs […]

Being a band that are truly part of the original group of metal bands that shaped the way for metal […]

EXCLUSIVE – AVENGE THE SIN “ENTHRONEMENT OF A TYRANT” SINGLE
Avenge The Sin is a new band wreaking havoc from Queensland, Australia. Their sound is destructive and very much in the same vein as local contemporaries Thy Art Is Murder, Aversions Crown, and Boris The Blade. Their music is without mercy as it slams between riffs, blasts, and breakdowns. They gave their first taste of […]
