Famined Records (responsible for The Afterimage, Arbiter, Neberu, Stargazer…) have just announced Ceiling Of Anvers as their latest European signing.
This is a young project, born in 2012, putting together hardcore and djent influences. The band already proved to be deserving of some worthy attention with the release of the first single off their forthcoming EP, "We All Live In Balance". The title of that song, released in March, was "Order/Control". That single must have really caught the attention of the American indie label Faimined Records.
With the announcement of the signing, the band has premiered a new music video for the single "L.I.F.E." through New Noise Magazine. The track also includes a guest appearance from Nico of Damned Spring Fragrantia. The band has also revealed details about the concept behind the EP, and the full tracklist.
"(It) talks about the continuous agonizing search of the man, as a natural person, of a physical location between earth and subconscious. Fearing the authority and the control, searching the reason to overcome the artificial lights which imprison the senses, and emotional states".
