The metal world was shook last week when the legendary Dave Brockie (Oderus Urungus) of GWAR passed away. Yesterday, a private ceremony of family and friends was held as Dave was laid to rest.
Of those in attendance, Darkest Hour guitarist Mike Schleibaum posted the following picture of the program along with the following statement.
“Very emotional and beautiful event yesterday. I will celebrate the life of Dave whenever i hear his music or spend time with the people he loved! RVA has lost a great man but gained a legend! All HAIL GWAR!”
