Last year’s edition of UK Tech-Metal Fest left us with an amazing experience and some fine memories. It’s great to see the tech-fest team are keeping up the amazing quality of their festival and this year they’ll be going even beyond. They announced the first 22 bands playing this summer in the festival’s new venue: the Newark Showground in Lincoln, UK.
The first headliner is no less than the German sludge heavyweights, The Ocean. Furthermore, the line-up includes more amazing tech/prog/djenty metal bands such as Vildhjarta (UK Exclusice), The Safety Fire, Felix Martin, Modern Day Babylon, No Consequence, Disperse and Drewsif Stalin. Looks like there will be some more intense movement among the audience this year with mosh-worthy acts like Glass Cloud (European exclusive), The Eyes Of A Traitor (UK exclusive), Napoleon, Carcer City and more… You’ll also see Friend For A Foe, Deadly Circus Fire, From Sorrow To Serenity, HORD, Aeolist, BEAR, Kadinja, The Bellerophon Project, The Sun Explodes and our boys in Lies Of Nazca! It will be absolutely crazy.
