Following our unfortunate Arch Enemy news yesterday, a void was left in the line-up of The Agonist. The renowned Alissa White-Gluz left the band to take the place of the extreme queen, Angela Gossow, in Arch Enemy. So naturally, The Agonist have sought out a replacement of their own. They found a new vocalist in Vicky Psarakis (also of E.V.E.).
The band offered up the official statement below:
“Today we announce that after three albums and countless tours we officially part ways with vocalist Alissa White-Gluz. We wish Alissa all the best with Arch Enemy and her future endeavors.
It is the beginning of a new and exciting chapter for The Agonist! We are thrilled to announce the newest addition to the The Agonist family. Please give a warm welcome to very talented vocalist Vicky Psarakis!
Stay tuned for new The Agonist material coming very soon!”
The band posted the following picture of Vicky Psarakis recording…
Here are some Alissa tracks to numb the pain.
