For those with an acquired taste for drone, good news is here. Legendary Sunn O))) and the long running, avant-garde Ulver are planning to release a three track collaborative effort in February. The drone masters will meet the sounds of sorrow. It will be the longest recording ever… maybe. The effort will be released through the hard hitting Southern Lord.
According to reports, many more details will emerge in the coming weeks, but… ya know… drone metal. It might take awhile. While you’re waiting, be sure to get lost in previous music from both bands below.
