Every once and a while I come across a band that makes me do a double take on the first listen. Upcoming Russian Mathcore / Progressive Metal unit, She Was The Universe, was the unexpected candidate.
I pressed play on their latest single “Mother Tree” and suddenly my brain was very happy. Then I checked the 2012 debut “Whalesong”. Ohhh yeeah \m/ Did I mention the music is FREE?
