Dylan Barnes is an artist who is very young and very much underground with the ability to do some very awesome, big time things with his music. He crosses Progressive Metal and Jazz Fusion in a way that very few can. In fact, I can only think of two other bands in the same echelon – Crossing The Event Horizon and Exivious.

The creativity here is mind bending to say the least. Every song has something crazy and unique going on. Much of it verges on pure genius. And what makes it even better is that ALL of Dylan’s music is available for FREE download from his Soundcloud. I highly recommend you stream through the impressive tunes below and add them to your collection (“Nova!” would be a good starting place). Also, give this guy some likes on Facebook!
